Make-up Trend: Cat Eyes and Pale Pink Lips

Looking every bit of a sex kitten on the latest issue of Vogue India is Bipasha Basu. To get her look, apply a thin line of eyeliner where your lashes begin, all the way to the outer edges, extending it a half inch up into a wing. Then thicken the line from the midpoint to the outer corner by going over it a couple more times--you should end up creating a triangle at the outer corner of each eye. Apply a matte black eye shadow over the eyeliner using a small angled brush to darken and fill in any gaps. Apply a few coats of mascara to the top and bottom lashes. Dust a bright pink blush on the apples of your cheeks. For the lips, apply a pinky-nude lipstick that has a pearly finish.

Hair Trend: Sleek, Shiny Hair

On the cover of the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar India, Deepika Padukone sports a straight, swingy hairstyle. To get the best results with your own hair, consider taking a tip from the pros: Shampoo twice to remove all traces of residue from your hair shaft. The first wash removes product build-up, the second whisks away dirt and impurities—and ultra-clean hair dries ultra-bouncy.

At Blenders Fashion Tour 2010 Launch, Perizaad Zorabian rocked a smoky eye in warm hues. Rather than selecting traditional grays and blacks, rim your eyes in deep chocolate brown liner and top it with a bronze eye shadow. The look is especially impactful on brown eyes like Perizaad's.

Make-up Trend: Smoky Navy Eyes

For a recent fashion show, Bipasha Basu accentuated her eyes with flecks of blue. "The look we wanted a celestial glow with a smidge of an edge," said Clint Fernandes, who created the look. He smoothed on a creamy taupe formula as a base, then topped it with glittery silver shadow and a thick swipe of navy blue gel liner. "Two coats of black mascara was the perfect finish," said Clint.

Make-up Trend: Ballet Pink Lips

Kareena Kapoor looked every bit ethereal on the cover of the latest issue of Filmfare, the look Mickey Contractor was going for was sweet and feminine, so he went for soft, and non-fussy makeup with just a touch of color on the lip. He reached for a matte formula that was still creamy and silky, and chose a soft, ballet pink shade. "It gave the look an easy sweetness," he said.

Make-up Trend: Soft Pink Smoky Eyes

At the International India Jewelry Week, Isha Koppikar added a touch of sophistication to her jewelry with some gorgeous smoky eyes. Her smoky eyes were light and ethereal against that fuchsia dress she wore. Rather than blending charcoal hues along your entire lid, keep darker shades below the crease. Top it off by blending a shimmery, neutral shadow—Isha opted for pink-purple eye shadow—all the way up to the crease, and light beige pink on the lids.

Make-up Trend: Earthy Lipstick

If you're afraid a full-on nude lip will wash you out, consider a terracotta hue like Vidya Balan sported on the cover of Cineblitz this month. The earthy shade is neutral enough to work with nearly any skin tone, the peachy tint warms up the entire face without feeling clownish.
